How to become a vet in Luxembourg

Request for authorization to practice
To practice as a veterinarian in Luxembourg, you must obtain a license to practice from the Ministry of Health and Social Security.

Presentation to the Veterinary College
After submitting an application for a license to practice, the applicant must appear before the Veterinary College, which will issue an opinion to the Ministry of Health and Social Security.

Your file and disclosure requirements
Every veterinarian is required to provide the Veterinary College with all information regarding their professional status prior to commencing their professional practice.

Issuance of a license to practice
If all prerequisites are met, the Ministry of Health and Social Security will issue you a license to practice.
